January 22, 2019

We were thrilled to have partnered with the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce for this event. We combined our member networking meetings together in order to bridge the gap that has existed between Indigenous people and our community prior. Great strides have been made in our community in order to build lasting relationships with Indigenous people and now is the perfect time to be partnering together.

MNP LLP was our generous Sponsor for the evening.

Bravo Restaurant and Lounge provided catering.

Stó:lō Bannock was on-site.

Mayor Ken Popove spoke and a few Council Members were in attendance.

Eddie Gardner spoke very eloquently on the Stó:lō culture and Indigenomics, then sang a welcome song.

Arnie Leon played the Native American flute.

Linda Kay Peter of Ringing Bell Robes fundraised for her trip to Paris Fashion Week.                                                And Nations Creations unveiled the new Pink Shirt Day design!

Thank you to all the volunteers that helped set up/take down and to Robert Chudy for being the bartender!
